In an age where water is becoming an increasingly precious resource, at Hôtel Aoriste, this is much more than going with the flow: taking action is absolutely essential. We have taken concrete steps accordingly. For example, the hotel drinking water is filtered on the premises and supplied in reusable glass bottles, thereby avoiding unnecessary transport and use of plastic.

Furthermore, the bed linen is changed on request only, which enables us to save thousands of litres of water every year and promote better and more reasonable use of water.

Giving things a new lease of life, making the pleasure last… This is an integral part of what makes Paris’s — our — 1st arrondissement great, consistently meshing the Old with the New. At Hôtel Aoriste, the careful, systematic sorting of waste for recycling is an incontrovertible golden rule, training our teams accordingly.

Waste bins are available throughout the hotel: don’t hesitate to use them, as every little helps.

We use Isula bath products, from a Corsican artisanal company, while our organic eggs, dairy products and cheeses are supplied directly by an agro-ecological farm in Tremblay, Les Yvelines. We use only produce in season and give priority to drinks and beverages made in France. At Hôtel Aoriste, short supply chains and perpetuating the local economic fabric are a natural choice. This helps to reduce our carbon footprint, of course, but also pay homage to the flavour and taste of the products we use. We know our partners and suppliers personally, which remains for us an additional guarantee of quality.
